God says, "Go To The Hospitals"

We are asking God to show us the way to do His work and several months ago we heard Him say, "Go in the hospitals". Kristi, being a cardio nurse, is already in UAB hospital for her job so she began praying for God to reveal what He wanted her to do to serve Him there. God has been giving her opportunity after opportunity to witness to co-workers and patients. She has been able to pray with patients before their heart procedures, a time when they are often full of fear and extremely open to receiving what God wants to share.

Kristi also leaves www.Biblein11.com cards in the hospital chapel for people to take and watch the YouTube video that shares the full Gospel message. She has been amazed at how many cards have been taken.

After Kristi's hospital ministry was underway, Nena began hearing from God that she was supposed to go to the hospitals. Her friends, Susie Keefe and Julie Koenig, were thrilled to join her so we began going to the hospital chapels in Charleston to pray.

Each chapel has a Prayer Request book so we lift up prayers for all the requests that are written. We have also been blessed to pray with family members whose loved ones are in surgery or are barely hanging on to their earthly live. The Charleston hospital chapels are also home to www.Biblein11.com cards now as well. In addition, we also bring magazines with www.Biblein11.com cards placed inside and leave them in waiting rooms. We continue to hear God saying that He sent us to the hospitals because so many people are in valleys there. God can reach people when they are in valleys because they are grasping for help and God is always right there.

Kristi and Nena had the pleasure of being in Atlanta together the weekend of January 11th so we couldn't wait to go to the hospital together and we chose Egleston Children's Hospital. The prayer requests in the chapel book there were heartbreaking and we found ourselves full of sorrow for what each family was facing with their young children. A couple of the prayer requests were shocking because they were not cries for physical healing but, instead, were desperate pleas to tell God how unworthy they were to even be alive. Two in particular broke our hearts - the prayers of Destiny and Jesse. Their prayers were similar and incredibly sad because they were told by their family that they were completely worthless and unloved. Kristi and Nena poured out our hearts in prayers for these two children of God and asked God to reveal His love for them in an extraordinary way.

We also left www.Biblein11.com cards in the Egleston chapel and other places around the hospital and felt truly blessed to be together because when we are often carrying out this mission in our respective cities many miles apart.

God, we know that you have special plans for those that will receive the www.Biblein11.com cards we leave in all the hospitals because you are preparing the hearts and minds of those people that will pick up them up. We ask for special healing for the patients and especially for Destiny & Jesse!
